Adrian Godziebiewski, 16-years-old student of a vocational school received his one-millionth personal Warsaw City Card (WKM). He received the card in the Passenger Service Point at the Centrum underground station a week ago.
The Warsaw City Card is a carrier of short-term and long-term tickets (1-day, 3-,30-, 90-day). There is a permanent print of the user’s photograph and his or her data: first name and surname on the WKM. In that manner a “common” card changed into the personal WKM. They have been issued since 2 June 2008.
During personalization of a card, a user can choose one of a few designs of the card. You can also create your own card design using the electronic application on the website personalizacja.ztm.waw.pl. The one-millionth WKM user, Adrian Godziebiewski, created his own card design for which he used the logo of his favorite hip-hop group from Mokotów.
The Director of ZTM, Leszek Ruta, met the “one-millionth” WKM owner on 13September and gave him promotional gifts.
