The Public Transport Authority is a partner of the third edition of the campaign: „Bądźmy Razem Bezpieczni” (Let’s Be Safe Together) organized by Tramwaje Warszawskie Sp.z o.o. (Warsaw Tramway)
The opening of the campaign took place on Wednesday, 14 September at 10:15 at the “Wola” tram depot at 20 Siedmiogrodzka street. The presentation of a tram and a car crash and rescue action of municipal service officers that followed was the climax of the event.
The first national seminar on “Tram Traffic and Safety” was also held within the frames of the campaign. Deputy minister of Infrastructure, Radosław Stępień, Deputy President of Warsaw Jacek Wojciechowicz, City Traffic Engineer Janusz Galas and Wojciech Pasieczny from the Warsaw traffic patrol among others, took part in the seminar. A ZTM representative presented a paper on “Safety in Public Transport – Education and Technology”.
