the boat to Serock

Due to low water level on the Vistula river, from 2 of May the cruise to Serock takes place on the route Żerań – Serock – Żerań. The ship starts about 9:15 from a pier next to the bus stop Cementownia 02.

Arrival to the pier at Żerań is possible individually or by a special bus which starts from the area of the marina at Podzamcze. Bus course takes place on the day of the cruise.

The bus transfer is based on a ticket for the cruise to Serock.

Bus departures:

  • 9:00 from the stop Podzamcze 02 - at the Boulevard side (at the height of the Royal Castle),
  • return to Podzamcze on the route: Płochocińska – Modlińska – al. Armii Krajowej – Słowackiego – Krasińskiego – Wybrzeże Gdyńskie – Wybrzeże Gdańskie.
On the return route all bus stops are conditional "on demand".

It is worth taking part in a daylong and exciting cruise on the Vistula River and the Żerański Canal up to Serock which is located on the Warsaw landscape conservation area, by Zegrzyński Lake. This is an artificial lake and it was created as a result of the Narew and the Bug rivers backwater. It has total surface area of 30.1 square kilometers, and its maximum depth is 13 meters. This is a real paradise for fishermen and water sports enthusiasts.

The ”Zefir” ship sets off at 9.00 from the Podzamcze pier and docks into pier in Serock. After a brake, the ship goes back to Warsaw at about 14.30. The cruise should end about 18.00.

It takes up to 120 passengers on board. There is a barbecue and a buffet with hot meals and cold beverages available on board.

Cruise timetables

The ”Zefir” cruises on Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 of May to 30 of June (additionally on 2, 4 of May and 1 of June) and from 1 of July to the end of August – also on Fridays. In September it will cruise on the first three weekends (till 16 of September).
